He was working security shifts during the day.

Restaurant shifts until 2 AM.

When I was younger, I thought he was avoiding us.

Then I understood.

He was in his mid 40s.

He wanted to open a restaurant.

But he did not quit his security job to do it.

He worked both. For 2 years straight.

Then the restaurant started making money.

He quit security.

Never looked back.

That taught me something I think about every single day.

The smartest people do not quit their job to start a business.

They let the job pay the bills while they build something on the side.

My dad built the restaurant while working security.

You build the page while working your job.

Keep your job. Let it pay for your mistakes while you build.
