100 pages got banned this week. Here is what I learned.

This week Instagram banned about 100 pages across my network.

Mine included.

Some had 400K followers. Some had a million.

I have been in this industry for 6 years.

I have never seen a single page not come back.

Sometimes it takes 24 hours.

Sometimes it takes 3 weeks.

But they always come back.

Here is what I learned from watching this happen over and over:

The people who panicked were the ones who had no email list.

The people who shrugged had 10K, 20K, 30K email subscribers.

Sitting in their newsletter. Safe.

Because Instagram can take your page.

Nobody can take your email list.

That is the whole model.

Instagram is the engine. Email is the business.

The page gets you attention. The email list gets you paid.
